Currently in advanced stages of construction, the hotel is scheduled to open by fall 2007, and will include 205 luxuriously stylish guest rooms with spectacular views of the Persian Gulf, a signature Missoni Cucina restaurant, a Mocha Missoni coffee bar, a Missoni Lounge, a Missoni Spa, a well-equipped fitness facility and an outdoor swimming pool. Additional facilities will include several state-of-the-art conference rooms, as well as a ballroom for large-scale events.
The hotel will form the centerpoint of the new Symphony Complex, a project incorporating the twenty-two-story hotel, an eleven-story office tower, and a two-story shopping mall. The hotel will border the famous Persian Gulf Road on the Salmiya seafront, while the office component will border Salem Al Mubarak Street to the rear of the project.
As of June 2007, construction of the hotel is nearing completion. Exterior cladding works are finishing as stone and black glass are being applied to the concrete structure. Interior works and finishings are currently underway for the hotel's planned September 2007 opening.
