PROJECT NAME : First Ring Road Extension
PROJECT DESCRIPTION :The scheme entails the upgrade of 2.5 km of carriageway, 10 bridges and a diversion of existing underground utilities. The project also entails the construction of an 800 m long stretch of single lane over pass, a 300 m long stretch of dual carriage-way overpass and a 1.5 km section below ground.
COMMENTS : Greek Co. Electra in association with Copri Construction was awarded the first stage of 1st Ring Road at 99.6 m.US Parsons Brinckerhoff is the consultant.
Investment: $100mln for the first stage. $335mln Total cost for the project.
